Where are context files stored?
Storage ArchitectureYour AI context files reside strictly on your local disk and in your chosen private GitHub repository. DraftsLab does not host an intermediary context ingestion server or database. When you sync, the desktop client communicates directly with the GitHub API over HTTPS.
How does the app authenticate?
Credential SecurityAgentDrafts uses OAuth authentication with GitHub. Your personal access tokens and OAuth credentials are saved exclusively into your operating system's native secure credential vault (macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager, Linux Secret Service). Tokens are never saved in plaintext files or SQLite databases.
What files are selected or excluded?
Containment & Secret FiltersYou explicitly choose which project workspaces and context files to manage. AgentDrafts enforces strict root containment to prevent directory traversal. Sensitive files (.env*, *.pem, *.key, id_rsa, and credential files) are excluded by default to avoid accidental exposure.
What happens when changes differ?
Reconciliation & SafetyAgentDrafts employs a deterministic 3-way reconciliation strategy comparing base, local, and remote file states. Concurrent divergent changes trigger an interactive Conflict status, allowing you to review side-by-side diffs and decide which version to preserve rather than silently overwriting your work.
Context storage vs. Installer distribution:
DraftsLab hosts application installer binaries and signed update manifests on public AWS S3 object storage for download delivery. However, your context files and source repositories are never uploaded to AWS. Synchronization is strictly peer-to-storage between your machine and your designated GitHub repository.
